Our coconut milk powder is made from pasteurized and spray dried natural extract of coconut kernel. Because it's made with pure coconut, it's naturally sweet, and is rich in healthy fatty acids that your body can use to nourish all of your cell membranes.
Please note: Our coconut milk powder contains a trace amount of a natural sugar ester that is derived from carrots; this sugar ester is used as an emulsifier. Because there is no maltodextrin or sodium caseinate in our coconut milk powder, it is extremely rich and you may find some of the powder clumped together in the package, though clumps are easily broken up with a fork and when mixing with water.

Just a question; how much milk does this 2.2 lbs make?
I have found that everyone has their own preference for consistency of coconut milk, so I don't make any standard recommendations for amount of coconut milk powder per cup of water.
For me, I like one heaping tablespoon of coconut milk powder per 12 ounces of water for my coconut milk. And I have found that one pouch of 2.2 pounds lasts me about 90 days making this amount daily. But if you prefer something more mild or rich, you can adjust by adding less or more coconut milk powder. Once you go through one pouch, you will have a good idea of how long each pouch will last you.

This is the best tasting coconut milk around! It tastes so much better than the ones that come in cartons, and I can make as much as I like without wasting it. The overview of this product says mix equal parts of warm water with product. But, I read in the comments from Dr. Ben Kim 1-2 tbls per cup of water.

I love the convenience of the coconut powder. This is a delicious alternative for milk in my morning cereal and to stir into my cooked oatmeal for added flavor. I will try it in my coffee too. When I open the jar I get that amazing aroma of fresh coconuts and the flavor is smooth and creamy.

I blended in 3 Tablespoons of Coconut Powder to 1 Qt of my homemade yogurt, before incubating. It added extra healthy richness and a wonderful coconut taste. I topped this yogurt with diced pineapple, banana, chopped walnuts, and bit of dried coconut. A lovely tropical taste.
I am completely addicted to using this in my coffee! So much so that I carry a small container with me to work and travel. I just use a teaspoon or so. It smooths out the bitterness and adds a slight coconut flavor that blends well with coffee. I am also completely addicted to DrBenKim.com! ;-)
i must say it's a bit pricey , and i to was reluctant , I'm so happy , i did make the purchase , and will over and over . I'm quite poor and enjoy good health , And i haven't any faith in the OBOMA CARE... i put my money wear my mouth is so to speak ,good in good out ,so why wood i need health care . I loved the taste, but I got some sickness which I can't describe at all.

@Lori Sorry about your experience. As I've just mentioned, I love this product. However, it must be pointed out that it's quite rich. I don't think this is meant to be consumed straight as some people would drink milk. This is more for adding to shakes, cooking with, etc. I like to mix the coconut milk with yogurt or kefir and add it to my cereal. This way I get the coconut flavor without overpowering the rest of the ingredients.
I made Curry Coconut Chicken last night for the first time and it was out of this world! No canned coconut milk can come close to this. Thank you for this wonderful product.
P.S. Hint: don't try to mix the powder in cold water from the fridge. It ain't gonna work :-) Otherwise, it mixes easily with just a few whisks of fork.
About one tablespoon of coconut milk powder makes a good cup of coconut milk. But you can adjust the amount you use to produce your desired consistency, from a light milk to a rich cream. I hope this helps!

I love all the products Ive bought here, except for this one! For some reason I couldnt stand the flavor to the point that it made me vomit the las time i used it! But everything else Ive bought is soooo natural and very good tasting!!
